2014
It has been 1,748 days since we have been able to see Conor and Riley playing on the same football team. Riley began his varsity football career starting at Cornerback and Receiver and played well. Conor began his second year of varsity football, starting at Strong Safety and Receiver.
Seeing the boys on the field together was a proud moment, knowing how hard they have worked over the years to get to this point.
JSerra started off slow, not much excitement in the first half as the score was 0-0. The second half was a different story with JSerra coming alive to score 40 unanswered points.
In the fourth quarter, Long Beach tried to take advantage of Riley's inexperience by going deep down the sideline to a speedy receiver, but Riley hung in there and recorded his first interception of the season.
Not to be outdone by his younger brother, on the very next play, Conor ran a flag route and received a great pass from Nick Robinson for a 65 yard touchdown.
Both boys had a handful of tackles, Conor had 3 receptions for roughly 80 yards and a touchdown, Riley had 1 interception.
